Crispy Sourdough Discard Waffles

A tasty sourdough discard recipe for the perfect, crispy sourdough waffles. These waffles do not ferment overnight so they are quick and easy to prepare any morning that you want to serve them.

Vanilla

Coconut Oil, Lard, Butter, or Ghee, melted

Honey or Maple Syrup

Sourdough Discard

Baking Soda
Instructions
Measure starter into a large bowl.
Add to starter salt, vanilla, melted oil, honey, and eggs.
Mix/ blend these together ensuring all are combined thoroughly.
Preheat waffle iron.
Stir in baking soda,
Cook on hot waffle iron to desired crispness.
